Episode Synopsis
Grissom and crew are called in after high roller Tony Braun, a known drug addict, is found dead in his house by a gardener. Since drug paraphernalia is discovered near his body and it is also determined that he had recently inhaled heroin, the cause of death is at first thought to be an overdose. But further examination of the corpse reveals that Braun had been restrained at some point with duct tape, leading Grissom to believe that the victim was forced to ingest lethal amounts of heroin and, perhaps, other drugs.

not to good for a fist episode, and the plot wasn't strong enough to stand without a subplot or case

The unfortunate start of the "Braun-episodes" that we got far too many of...please give us a "Braun-free" S5.

Not too bad, but it could have been a better start to season two. Good plot all the same.

just an average episode. does anyone know the name of a song that was played during the episode? it was the scene when all the cop cars were driving thru the desert to find the underground room full of precious metal bars.

I thought the story was weak, especially for a season starter. What music is playing when they're walking to the "basement" in the desert?

It's not that good for a season starter. Hell, I didn't even think that this ep was the season starter!

First episode I ever saw, it got me hooked but compared to every other ep is it very poor. Confusing espesh for first time viewers. I still don't really understand what happened, think I need to borrow the box set and watch it again.

Not all that bad but far from what one would expect for a season opener.

Boring episode, not a good opening for season 2. Brothers' case is quite decent though.
