Episode Synopsis
Grissom and his crew are called in to investigate the death of a young woman found in the hotel room of popular actor Tom Haviland. Haviland admits that he slept with her, but denies killing her. Grissom believes otherwise, however, after finding blood evidence on the celebrity. Then things get personal when Haviland's lawyer hires Grissom's former mentor, Philip Gerard, to find mistakes in the forensic part of the case. And, unfortunately for Grissom, Gerard finds plenty of errors to exploit.

Not a must see, starts off pretty interesting, but ordinary for CSI standards.

Simply one of the best. Loved the way Grissom handled the case in court. Loved Cath's shoes too... too bad we don't get to see her wear those heeled shoes often.

Love the investigation part of the show; didn't much care for the court scenes. In real life, some of the questions asked by the defense attorney would not have been allowed due to relevance.

Seriously would I want these people working my case? An ex-stripper not known for following protocol who´s just failed her proficiency test, a compulsive gambler that indirectly got his colleague killed, a nice-but not very intelligent- guy that´s a littl

This is one of my favorite episodes. Some of the court questions were irrelevant to the case, though. My favorite part is when Grissom presents his case in court. I was smiling broadly at the end of the episode. Loved the ending. CSI rules!

This has got to be the best episode!! Grissom outsmarts the opposing counsel! But for some of you to complain about how the others ruined the case I think that was the point. To prove just how meticulous the work of csi's has to be. It shows that when the

I liked this one, dispite some of the irrelevant questions asked in court. And when Sara was put on the spot- that was cool. (Not b/c I hate her, oh no!)

A few holes in the story, especially those having to do with the court scenes. But they pull it off really well. And any episode that has Warrick in a suit gets my vote anytime :)

Really good chapter, makes you see the weakness of this group of (apparentely) criminology cuper heroes. You discover that the only one who really knows what to do, is the one who is more disconected to his work.

This is one of the best episodes! I hated that attorney, man she was a BITCH!!! Grissom's mentor was an ass, also. I loved the ending when Grissom put the two of them in their place. Great episode.

This is one of my favorite CSI Episodes. Grissom's faith in the team didn't waver when they were under attack. While I realize it's not at all realistic (well none of it is suppose to be anyway -- so who are we to judge?), this episode just works. My fave

I didn't like this episode mainly because of the in-court method of the defence lawyer. I'm not surprised by her trying to discredit the CSI team but I don't think she would get away with it in a real court of law. Though I loved Grissom at the end provin
