i see your point and i do like the whole team im just saying that catherine is my fav ive never outrightly dissed a member of the team ( i think) i admire them all as people and the team they make

I love "Quincy" too and, like Shells, that's the why I started to watch CSI!
Then I've been involved by the team, not only by forensics and science!
I think the interaction and the understanding between them all are really important for the show, (in fact I don't like CSI Miami as much as I like CSI, it concerns forensics and science too, but the team and the rhythm are really differnt and it doesn't work the same ).
I like them all ( above all Grissom and Catherine  ) and I think that if the cast will change it would never be the same !

although i have to agree that the show would not be the same if it lost a cast member...i will admit to warick. being my favorite ...the guy is just sooo cool....the good thing about a show ike csi and all it's sister shows it that they hjave somthing for everyone.....ie: greg:comedy...warrick coolness...etc etc....

and SHELLS i LOVED QUINCY !!! the title opening when he would pull back the sheets and cops were throwing up and passing out i howled EVERY week !!!!

Oh please, we all know the show wouldn't be as great as it is without every character. Even ones like Ecklie. You know you'd probably miss him too. lol. But everyone does have a chatcyer that makes them smile. Personally, I wouldn't watch it anymore someone like Grissom, Catherone or even Ecklie was kicked off. But you can't tell me that everyone can't have a character that they like mroe the the rest.

You are so right.. I like some characters more than others.. but for me someone can go...in my opinion the show would be just fine with out them. So do not go judging everyone and linping us all together. We all have those we like and those we dislike. I like Ecklie so he is not the one that can leave. It is someone else. Tazz, Rosie and Shells know the answer to that one.

I take NO credit for the Quincy line althought the cops throwing up was funny.
I know the one that many have mentioned.
I also know that many a great show has survived the loss of a main charactor, but few have survived the loss of great writing!
I wish we had the writings and creativity of season 1 & 2 back.
Shells
My purpose is to be smarter than the bad guy. Makes me uncomfortable to realize that this guy may be smarter than me. |

You're right, Shells. Many great shows have survived the loss of a main character as long as the writing didn't suffer and they were able to make it through the transition with little effect on the show. But, now the question for me is, can I survive the loss of a main character?? Well, who knows. I just think that if they were to write off one of the original cast members especially Grissom, Willows, and/or Brass, I would be greatly upset. Maybe I'm just strange, or maybe I'm to attached to the original CSI as you mentioned.
Also, I agree, the first two seasons were great and I too wish they would bring that back. I also wish TPTB would just step back a bit and let the actors, actresses, writers and audio visual guys and gals and whoever else that I haven't but should mention do their job. I get the impression that TPTB are sticking their nose into the original CSI and making people upset and even angry. Can't they just all get along??
