CSI: Crime Scene Investigation season 9 will return on October 9 at 9pm. Season five of CSI: New York will premiere at 10pm on September 24 whilst CSI: Miami season 7 is the first to return at 10pm on September 22nd.

Gary Dourdan pleads guilty to felony drug possession31 May 2008
Gary Dourdan, has pleaded guilty to two of three counts of felony drug possession yesterday. The 41-year-old actor will not be serving time behind bars.
The CSI actor, was arrested on April 28 in Palm Springs for drug possession after being found asleep in his car, allegedly in the driver's seat, parked on the wrong side of the road. Dourdan was charged with felony possession of heroin, cocaine and ecstasy.

CSI fans have not seen the last of Sara Sidle. In fact, the time has come for fans to welcome one of the key players of the forensic drama, Jorja Fox, whose character left the series in the season 7 episode "Goodbye and Good Luck” where she had to go face the ghost of her past.
According to TV Guide, the 39-year-old actress has just inked a deal to return for CSI's ninth season premiere next fall. Not much has been revealed about her anticipated comeback as plot details are being kept under wraps for now. However, it has been reported that she "won't be appearing in a flashback."
